At the market, you can expect to see Strawberries galore for right now. Blueberries and raspberries are coming on too, so be prepared to purchase in bulk for canning and freezing needs. Most early season items (asparagus, etc) are already done due to the warm weather.
Row crops are beginning to come in- but you may still be able to find snow peas and other varieties of peas, radishes, young beets and turnips, etc.
Check our farmers booths to see what they have, and be sure to inquire about the timing of their crops this season- it may be a bit different than is typical.
Honey is here, so be sure to get a jar.
Wine- is it ever out of season? Wine is available for sampling and sale at Stringtown Lavender Farm and Cellars. He's growing several varieties of lavender, so it's likely that lavender will be available. (also check for local cheese at his booth!).
Flowers! Beautiful fresh cut flowers are at the market this week, as are bedding plants. Lots to choose from.
Food and fun will be there- stop in and check it out!
