Bacon Wrapped Asparagus
"Pan roast" clean, trimmed asparagus spears til crisp-tender and cool.
Wrap a small slice of provolone around the spear.
Wrap a small slice of cooked bacon over the provolone. Can secure with a pick or pop under the broiler briefly to "set" the bacon into the cheese.
Mix 3 cups of your favorite nuts and lightly roast them in the oven.
In separate bowl, mix garlic powder, cayenne or chili powder, sea salt, pepper.
Drizzle 1/4 cup honey over toasted nuts and toss gently to cover. Sprinkle spice mixture over honey coated nuts and stir to distribute evenly. Toast in over again for a little while, watching so they don't burn- this helps to "set" the toppings. Cool and serve.
